Description
Product description
Magnesium Citrate supplies the essential mineral magnesium in the form of magnesium citrate – a readily water-soluble compound of magnesium and citric acid. Magnesium is involved in numerous metabolic processes in the body. Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function and to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Ingredients & functional context
Magnesium citrate is the magnesium salt of citric acid and is readily water-soluble. Magnesium contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system, to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to normal psychological function. Daily requirements rise during physical activity, among other situations, as magnesium is also lost through sweat.
Quality & safety
Capsules made from plant-based cellulose – vegan. Manufactured in Germany to GMP standards, without flavourings, sweeteners or colourings. Every batch is laboratory-tested. Please note: at very high intakes magnesium can have a laxative effect – so stay within the recommended serving amount.
Use & combination
Take 2–3 capsules daily with plenty of water; the timing is flexible. If you prefer a particularly stomach-friendly form, you will find it in our Magnesium Bisglycinate. When taking several high-dose minerals (e.g. together with zinc), it can make sense to spread intake across the day.
